Born 2 Shine was registered as a not-for-profit organization on 27th July, 2007. It was designed to address a major dilemma faced by youths and young people in the wider society which is maximizing their potentials amidst so much frustration. We strongly believe that every born child is filled is filled with potentials to excel and be a positive influence in his/her generation academically, socially, economically and spiritually. We aim at identifying the individual’s potentials at an early age and develop them through innovative projects and morale building instructions that will ensure a bright future for the individual as well as create value for the society at large. Born 2 Shine was started by the collective efforts of members of affiliate organizations. 

Our commitment is to discover, develop and redeploy the gifts and talents of youths and young people within our communities leading to the full actualization of their aspirations. Our passion is to turn those on self-destructive behaviours towards a lifestyle capable of producing a bright future.

Our mission is to challenge young people to lead a purpose driven life, empower them through training and diverse skills acquisitions projects, and then release them to achieve their aspirations by making the most of their potentials.
